Jeremy Clarkson has announced that his Amazon Prime series Clarkson’s Farm has secured a nomination for the National Television Awards 2025.
The 65-year-old broadcaster shared the news with his 9.4 million Instagram followers yesterday morning, posting an image of the agricultural documentary alongside the message: “We’ve been nominated for the National TV Awards.”
The programme, which follows Clarkson’s farming endeavours at Diddly Squat Farm in Chadlington, Oxfordshire, is competing in the Factual Entertainment category.
The nomination arrives as welcome news for the presenter, who recently faced disruptions to filming the show’s fifth series due to politician JD Vance’s visit to the Cotswolds, which imposed a no-fly zone around Dean Manor in Chipping Norton.

The agricultural documentary faces stiff competition from four other programmes vying for the Factual Entertainment award. Gogglebox, Stacey & Joe, The Martin Lewis Money Show Live, and Sort Your Life Out complete the list of nominees for this year’s category.
When a supporter commented on X that they had voted for the show after being a fan for decades, Clarkson revealed the production team’s frustration with previous award ceremonies.

Thank you. Our crews are getting fed up of losing this one

“Thank you. Our crews are getting fed up of losing this one,” the presenter responded.
Clarkson’s comments highlight the fact that the programme has been overlooked at past National Television Awards despite its considerable popularity and viewing figures since launching in 2021.
In a bid to rally support for the show, Clarkson has issued an unusual ultimatum to potential voters. Writing on Instagram, he warned: “We’ve been nominated for an award. If we don’t win, Richard Ham gets it.”
Richard Ham is a diminutive pig that has appeared on Clarkson’s Farm, belonging to the Oxford Sandy and Black breed, which is considered at risk.
The presenter has not clarified what fate awaits the small swine should the programme fail to secure victory, leaving fans to speculate about the cryptic threat.
The tongue-in-cheek warning appears designed to motivate viewers to cast their ballots for the farming documentary ahead of the ceremony.
Since debuting on Amazon Prime in 2021, Clarkson’s Farm has achieved remarkable success across four series, generating substantial viewing figures and prompting continuous demand for additional episodes.
The documentary captures the former Top Gear presenter’s agricultural ventures alongside experienced farmer Kaleb Cooper and partner Lisa Hogan at the Oxfordshire farm he purchased in 2008.
Supporters can cast their votes through the National Television Awards website, with the deadline set for midday on September 10. The ceremony will be held at The O2 London that evening, where the winner of the Factual Entertainment category will be revealed.
The show’s fifth series is presently being filmed in Oxfordshire, with episodes anticipated to appear on Amazon’s streaming platform next year.
